The Early Universal Machine Cancellations: Peterborough

Peterborough used an International machine until October, 1912 (Sessions list an unconfirmed report of Oct 20, while the Auditor General reports states Oct 16 as the last day of the International rental). According to the Reports of the Auditor General, Peterborough then rented, from Oct 17, a Type II Universal machine at $150/annum. This rental continued until replaced by the new contract on July 1, 1919.

The dater hub is about 22mm in diameter, and its right side is about 8-9mm from the start of the obliterator. Some variations in the shape of the lines of the obliterator seem to exist.
