The Early Universal Machine Cancellations: Montreal
According to the Report of the Auditor General, the rental of the Montreal Universal began January 15, 1913. This was
an electric Model C, rented at $300/annum. There was a break in the rental period from July 8, 1915 to August 7, 1915.
The dater hub is about 22mm in diameter, and its right side is about 8-9mm from the start of the obliterator.
The dater hub reads 'MONTREAL / QUEBEC'.
