Postmarks of Canada

The PHSC is developing databases of postmarks of various types from Canada and Newfoundland. These databases are not just lists! The data is stored in a modern database format, and information can be displayed in any number of ways. Such display methods will be developed over time, along with a variety of methods for searching for more limited or specialized information. So far, we have some simple search methods set up, which we hope you will find useful.

Here, you will find Stephane Cloutier's Canada Duplex Cancellations and the beginnings of a database of the early postmarks of Canada, including the broken circles. A big advantage of this format is that you can be assured that what you're looking at includes the most recently known information -- new reports and updates are added as they come in. We would appreciate your reports -- contact information for each type of postmark can be found on the following pages. We hope to add additional compilations and postmark types in the future.
